here is my idea of the potential Quest Log. i think that its good in that the quests are broken down by area/region already now with the nightfall release but they have yet to implement the back-log.
In the event that you choose to abandon a quest it should be listed in the abandoned tab so that you can see it later and return to it at a later time.

opinions are welcome.

1 The main idea is sound and quite well thought out. I like it
2 Sorting by campaigns will make thing much easier, especialy if it is automatic.
3 I do not think that completed quests should be included though. Personaly I feel once I have completed a quest I do not want to be reminded of it (my opinion only do not take it the wrong way).
4 Abbandoned quests, could save time by letting you know what you either gave up on or were not in the mood to do at that time (or not at a lvl that could do it "Villany of Galrath" anyone).
Idea is very sound and shouldn't take much to implement.

I would like along with the 'active', 'abandoned' and 'completed' quests... all the 'known' quests... those you have already made with other character...

So you could find those easier.

I'm not sure why you'd need a Complete tab ("Remember when I did that one quest? Yeah. That was awesome.") but I like this idea. The current interface was less of an issue when it was just Prophesies, but with the addition of Factions, Nightfall, and now GW:EN, everything's been jumbled together into a long, clumsy, disorganized to-do list.

/signed, of course.

Ah! Anf there could even be another thab that links to a textfile: questlog.txt.

That way, you could navigate the wiki, write down the stuff in the filem and read it later inside the game.

You could use it for memos and personal notes too.
Neverwinter Nights players may remember a similar feature. It was very useful.

It would be real nice if something could be build into the game that could keep track of the missions and quests you have completed or uncompleted in all modes.

I know you can do this out side of the game but when you have multiple characters it makes it a bit harder.

So maybe another screen addition that could show missions and quests yet to be completed for each world would be real helpful.

What do you think?

/signed! I hate scrolling through all those quests because there are so many especially Realm of Torment ones in my case.

This is a must.

I suggest that to make it more out of the way, that when you click on a quest, to make the objectives, story, and reward have a separate page.

I just went on GW's website to look for "suggestions" just to post it.

The aera, complete, incomplete tabs would be very useful, but it's true that the "Not found yet" would be a little too much. Eventually, a log with "Zone" that would automatically select all the quests from the area you're in could be useful for big questers.
